Week 3: Mark F.

I took on the task of organizing the engineering requirements and modifying the SEAR concept to align with practical application constraints. My work involved categorizing the necessary components and ensuring each was feasible within the known constraints of Mars’ harsh environment. I also contributed to the refinement of SEAR’s mobility system, analyzing how its drive mechanisms could traverse different Martian terrains effectively. To support this, I conducted research on past Mars rover missions and their mobility challenges, using this information to enhance our own design.
