My efforts this week revolved around researching how a future on Mars would need fundamental sustainability measures. I focused on understanding the crucial resources necessary for survival, such as water extraction, oxygen production, and food growth. I studied how these essential resources could be integrated into SEAR's functionality to support long-term habitation. Additionally, I researched energy requirements and possible renewable sources, such as solar panels and nuclear power, that could be used to power SEAR’s operations efficiently.
